Świebodzice are situated in south - east of the Lower - Silesian province, in the administrative district of Świdnica near Wałbrzych city which stretches in the arrangement with almost meridional on the distance the almost 10 square kilometres . The city possesses well developed public transport, the main way No. 374 runs from the south to north toward the highway No. 4 the distant is 30 square kilometres, Wrocław - Legnica - Zgorzelec. However highway No. 34 Wrocław - Świdnica - Jelenia Góra runs from east to west. There is planned to build highway A8 connecting Prague and Wrocław and Łódź and Warszawa by western borders. There is railway traction in Świebodzice city and it connects Jelenia Góra and Wałbrzych and Wrocław. The nearest border checkpoint with Czech Republic is Lubawka - 35 kilometres, with Germany Zgorzelec - 150 kilometres.
